By using a smaller camping table instead of our main one, I was recently able to remain in my wheelchair for the whole candle-making process, which was much safer for me. I used this opportunity to make three small bottle candles to put up for sale.
They are made from thoroughly-cleaned 275ml drink bottles. They each have a wick running to the bottom and are filled to the top with a lovely shade of turquoise wax.
After burning down a little the flame is sheltered by the neck of the bottle, making these ideal for use in the garden. They can be relit by long lighters or matches.
